I presented 'Creatively Managing Your Creative Time' as part of a breakout session called, "You Can Give the Industry What It Wants and Still Be Creative" at the TAXI Road Rally.

I spoke at the TAXI Road Rally as part of a ballroom panel called "Writing Songs and Composing Instrumentals for Film & TV". I shared the stage with Matt Hirt, Suz Doyle, Dean Krippaehne, Chuck Schlacter, Ed Hartman, Martin Haene, Dave Walton, Barry French and John Mazzei and Tracey Marino. We each played a track and talked about how that track fit the needs of film/tv, and discussed various aspects of the industry with moderator Michael Laskow.

Today I was interviewed by coach Debra Russell of Artists-EDGE.com on the topic of "voice therapy" as a healing modality for shyness.

I was a member of a panel @ the 2008 TAXI Road Rally, moderated by Ariel Hyatt, in the Grand Ballroom. We discussed the topic of "Overcoming the Roadblocks to Your Success." I shared the podium with Derek Sivers, Debra Russell, and Dean Krippaehne. About 2,000 people attended the Rally.

Today, at the 2008 TAXI Road Rally, I was surprised and pleased to receive a "Community Leadership Award" from Michael Laskow, CEO of TAXI, for my ongoing participation in the TAXI forum. Means a lot to me.

My interview with CBC's Jane Dykeman had its first broadcast. We discussed "voice therapy" and how it assists to overcome stage fright.

I entered a 25-page excerpt of my novel into the 2007 Summer Literary Seminars Fiction and Poetry Contests run by SLS Fiction & Poetry Contest (in affiliation with The Walrus magazine). I was chosen as one of the 30 contest finalists in the fiction category.

Recieved a grant from the "Foundation to Assist Canadian Talent on Records". I was pleased to have my creative talent recognized, and appreciated the support.

My lyric entry was one of the 50 out of 500 that made it to the second round of the Just Plain Folks Lyric Writing Contest

I was interviewed by Dr. Shoshana Bennett on World Talk Radio. I discussed my belief that the creative process (of singing, of songwriting) can heal, nurture, inspire. 'Voice" is not just the sound we make, but how we talk to ourselves, and how we 'speak' through our writing.
