YES, I am The Shy Singer, the one who suffered severe stage fright - to the point she literally could not stand up in front of an audience because her knees shook so much... never mind deal with social situations (see my bio). My mottos are 'never give up' and 'be willing to listen & learn.'

->I LIKE THE CHALLENGE OF CHALLENGES...
*I completed the "50 songs in 90 days" challenge (ran July 4 to October 1, 2009); I wrote a total of 32 works... lyrics, instrumentals, and/or complete songs.
*Completed the "February is Album Writing Month" challenge for 2009 - pushing to create a minimum of 14 song sketches for a potential album. My theme was Camelot, and I wrote 32 songs, some inspired by that story, some not. I will be participating in "FAWM" again in 2010!
*I challenged myself to write 52 songs and/or instrumental tracks in 2009. I wrote 32 + 32 + 21 + a few more here and there. About... 85?
*Currently I'm writing 26 three minute instrumental cues for a prominent music library. When I'm done, I'll have 60 minutes of broadcast quality music that's taken me at least 3 months to complete- including stems & bumpers. Very, very hard work, and makes me appreciate all the more how naive I was to think I could easily score a film, lol.

*I've uploaded a selection of music, ranging from rough cut songs to fully mastered tracks, and I will keep adding as I write. I like to share what I'm doing, and I hope you will hear the potential in the early drafts and enjoy the final cuts as well. Love to hear what you're up to, too, so drop me a line! :)
